"In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth" (Genesis 1:1).
We worship only ONE God.
The Old Testament teaches there is only ONE God. See Deuteronomy 6:4, 5 - "Hear, O Israel! The LORD is our God, the LORD is one! And you shall love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might." The New Testament teaches there is only ONE God. See James 2:19 - "You believe that God is one. You do well; the demons also believe, and shudder."
Other religions may worship many Gods, but Jews and Christians only worship the ONE God. |
